Archcode ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This notice explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are
Archcode is a software delivery consultancy registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is in Manchester, UK.
What data we collect
We collect personal data in the following situations:
- Contact form: Name, email address, and message. We also collect your stated service interest and optional budget range.
- Free Delivery Review form: Name, work email address, company name, team size, and information about your technical setup. This is needed to carry out the review.
- Newsletter subscription: Email address only.
- Website analytics: Page views, referring site, and approximate browser or device information collected through Matomo configured without analytics cookies.
We do not collect sensitive personal data. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party marketing trackers. We do use privacy-focused Matomo analytics configured without analytics cookies (see our Cookies Policy).
Why we collect it (legal basis)
- To respond to your enquiry — lawful basis: legitimate interests (to communicate with potential and existing clients).
- To carry out a Free Delivery Review — lawful basis: contract (the review is a service you have requested).
- To send newsletter emails — lawful basis: consent (you opted in). You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
- To understand site usage and improve content — lawful basis: legitimate interests. We use Matomo in a cookieless configuration for this purpose.
How long we keep it
- Contact form submissions: up to 12 months, unless you become a client.
- Free Review submissions: up to 24 months.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Client-related data: for the duration of the engagement and up to 6 years after for legal and accounting purposes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use the following services and tools to operate our business:
- Brevo (Sendinblue) — email delivery (contact confirmation emails, newsletter)
- Matomo — privacy-focused website analytics used for our own reporting and service improvement
All processors are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to processing or request restriction of processing
- Withdraw consent at any time (where we rely on consent)
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)
